Parent Forum

Initially established by our governing body, the parent forum is now led by the senior leadership team who invite parents once every half term to come and discuss topics that are advertised in the newsletter. Young children are welcome to attend and there is also the opportunity to raise AOB (any other business) in addition to topics advertised in the newsletter.

In the past year, useful feedback has been gathered from the parent forum on matters including homework, handwriting and the introduction of a new behaviour policy. Equally, the leadership team has welcomed the questions and opinions of the parent forum in shaping school policy and protocols. All matters raised are considered and responded to by one of the Headteachers (who attends the first part of the meeting).

When possible, class representatives are elected to gather views and feedback to the wider parental body.

The dates and times of the parent forum are circulated via schoolscomms (e-mail).
