School Council

Our School Council contributes greatly to the life of Bassingbourn Community Primary School by providing our pupils a voice to help make our school a happy and caring learning environment.  Our representatives meet once every 3 weeks to discuss a variety of topics. The School Council have previously been involved in the election of Headteachers, arranged fundraising events (and selected the charities to benefit) and are skilled at voicing issues (raised by their classes) for the consideration of the Senior Leadership team. 

A big thank you to everyone who wore yellow for Mental Health Day. It was briliant to hear to the children asking questions and talking about the importance of mental health. We manged to raise £260 for Young Minds charity!!
